The ADOA Employment section is comprised of two (2) units: Staffing & Recruitment.

STAFFING UNIT
The ADOA Staffing unit provides consultative services for general recruitment and human resource issues for ADOA and the small agencies, boards and commissions. In addition, the team has responsibility to maintain the HRIS database for ADOA and several small agencies. The Staffing unit provides Temporary Service employees to State agencies and conducts New Hire On Boarding for ADOA employees. This team processes direct hire requests, all agency transfers and SSN changes statewide.

The Assessment and Selection Services function also resides within the Staffing unit and is responsible for test administration, survey analysis and selection assessment tools for the agencies.

RECRUITMENT UNIT
The ADOA Recruitment unit provides consultative services for a variety of strategic recruitment initiatives including the following: the State wide job fair, current trend analysis, customized recruitment workshops, advertisement development, expanded community outreach programs, partnerships with local colleges, community events, internship programs and seminars and training on current recruitment technology. Upon request, the team assists the Governor and the agencies with the executive search process.
